Automatically retrieve your customers' documents and general ledger transactions from Fortnox Bookkeeping. Your customer needs an integration license from Fortnox.
Go to their web pageAccess a constantly updated general ledger from the customer; year-round, 24/7. Save hours each audit by easily and quickly checking customer invoices by swiping through them.
Ask the customer to give you access to their records once; then you don't have to bother her anymore and ask for SIE files or invoices - they're already in place.
To create an integration between Fortnox and the Senseworks platform, you need to createa link through the company in Senseworks, which you then send to the Fortnox system administrator. It is required that the company in Fortnox has an integration license.
We recommend that you read through the description below to ensure a successful integration.
The integration with Fortnox currently allows you to download documents that are created and linked to the vouchers in Fortnox. The document downloaded from the modules “Accounting”, “Suppliers” and “Billing”.
You can also download general ledger data from Fortnox. All receipts posted in a financial year in Fortnox are retrieved and loaded in the same financial year in Senseworks in the same way as if you had loaded an SIE-4 file. Of course, you can also load an SIE-4 file into Senseworks yourself, for example, exported from a financial statement program, and you can still retrieve invoices associated with the receipts.
Fortnox has the following requirements:

See also: How do I know if the company has a license for integrations?
To create an integration between Fortnox and the Senseworks platform, you need to create a link through the company in Senseworks. You do this by:
Enter the “Load data” page and click “Activate” under the Fortnox logo:
When you press “Activate”, you will have the option to copy the link and use it yourself, or send it to the person who has access to approve an integration (see paragraph above Creating an integration - what does it take to succeed?)
The link leads to an explanation page for the integration with Fortnox where you can read about the integration. To create a connection, the person then clicks on “Give permission” which opens up a new window for logging in to Fortnox.
The person then needs to log in to Fortnox and then consent to the connection being created.
If the company is under an agency license, the person will be allowed to choose among the companies to which they have access.
If the company has signed its own agreement with Fortnox, the person only needs to press accept.
Example - The customer/company uses Fortnox itself:
Example - An accounting consultant with several companies:
Once the connection has been approved according to the above steps, the integration is activated. You can see that an integration is active by the green light next to the Fortnox logo on the “Load data” page.
Data can then be retrieved from Fortnox in two different ways. Either data for the last two years can be retrieved by clicking “Sync two past years”. This will retrieve data for the last two fiscal years created in Senseworks.
It is also possible to retrieve data per fiscal year. To do this, go to the “Loaded data” page under “Accounting”. For each fiscal year, there data can be retrieved by clicking on “Get Data” (“Sync” when there is already something downloaded).
When you download data/sync, Fortnox always retrieves documents and invoices. It is also possible to obtain general ledger data for the financial year from Fortnox. If the source for the ledger is Fortnox (can be seen in the image above), the ledger data for the financial year will also be retrieved from Fortnox. However, if the source is Loaded SIE, you can choose when you click sync whether to overwrite this with Fortnox ledger data or not.
